Section 1, The Board of Public Affairs having duly advertised
for bids for furnishing and installing Obstruction lighting as per
sneeit"ications and for installing 24" Bi�ACGN LIGHT as per specifications
in accordance with Ordinance No. 4844 dated March 30, 1931, and having
roturned these bids (abstract of same attac,led) after advertising,
with recommendation that the lowest bid of the &lectrie Construction
company, Little mock, Ark. in the amount of V2,5131001 in aacurd.au,34
with glans and sf)ecifioation.s on file at the office of the OPity
Electrician, bo accented, The City Council hereby authorized and
direete that the said lo:,Vest bid be accepted, The Contractor to furnish
bond in aeeordfi.nce with laws of the State of Arkansas in an amount of
double the amount of the contract.
Section 2. The sum of X2,513,00 is hereby appropriated from the
Airport Bond Fund in -Pa.yment; for the above described work, and the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to issue
warrant or warrants upon the Airport Bond Fund in r)ayment of this Mork.
Section 3, It being immediately necessary for the safety and
efficient handling of Air Transport that this construction work be completed,
an emergency is hereby declared to e -xist, and this Ordinance shall be in
force and after the date of its passage,
