'A JH=R S, Street Improvement District No. 508, in the city of Little Rock, - irkansas, has received certain State .;.id; and; YIEREAS, the Commissioners of said Street Improvement Dis- trict Trio. 508, find that the levy on the assessment of benefits can thereby be reduced for the year of 1931; TI- IEREFORE, IT IS TTO�� ORDAINED 3Y %�iE CITY COUNCIL OF TLHE CITY OF L TITLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, and parcels of real property, raJilroads and railroad rights of way in said Street Improvement District Io. 508 of Little stock, rrkansas, be and they are hereby assessed according to ttie assessment list as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of assessors and that d'iv'e per centum of said assessment of the value of benef_ts to each of said blocks, lots, and parcels of land, railroad and railroad rights of wuy, shall be paid on or before the lst day of October, 1931, and that ten per centum of said assessez,ent uf the value of benefits to each of said blocks, lots, and parcels of land, railroads and railroad rights of ivay shall be paid on or before the first day of October each year t ereaf ter, until the crlhole of said local assessment shall 'nave been paid; and said local assess:r_ent shall be a charge and a lien agUinst all real property in said district from t;le date of this ordinance and shall be entitled to preference over all judgments executions, encumbrances, or liens, whensoever created, a til sach local assessment, ;:ith any penalty and costs that may accrue thereon, shall be paid; provided, as between grantor and grantee, all pay- rents not due at the date of the transfer of such real property shall be payable by the grantee. -2- Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith, be and the, same are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
