AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE No. 876
of THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
BE IT ORDA -NED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
er /, That the Section marked Seventh of Ordinance No. 876
of the ordinances of the City of Little Rock be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"The said company shall begin to operate its cars over all
its lines not later than 6 o'clock a.m. on week days and 6 :30
o ►clock a.m. on Sundays, and shall continue to operate the same
until 12 o'clock p.m. of each day during the continuance of this
franchise, and said cars shall be run at intervals of not to
exceed fifteen minutes apart from 6 o ►clock a.m. on week days and
from 6 :30 o'clock a.m. on Sundays until 10 :30 o'clock p.m.; and at
intervals of not to exceed thirty minutes apart from 10;30 o'clock
p.m. until 12 o'clock p.m.; provided, that said cars shall be run
at such intervals as will accommodate the public travel, taking into
consideration the population of the city from time to time. That
for the benefit of parties residing in the western part of the city,
along the Highland Park line, the company shall operate inward bound
cars regularly between the hours of 6 and 7 :30 o'clock a.m. and
outward bound cars between the hours of 6 and 7 o'clock p.m. over the

:Pailway Company; and, provided, further, that the said company shall
place a schedule showing the running of its cars at all points of
intersection of its lines, transfer stations and terminals. The
city reserves the right to make any necessary and proper regulation
for the safety and convenience of the public and to prevent the cars
from obstructing the streets, and to prevent said railway from being
constructed or operated in such a manner as to become a nuisance

or to obstruct any water course or flow of surface water.
Section.20 This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after the date of its passage.
