AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE HATE OF TAXATION OF PROPERTY
FOR CITY PURPOSES FOR YEAR 1932.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the rate of taxation on real and personal
property in the City of Little Rock, for City purposes for the year
1932, be, and the same is hereby, fixed and established and levied as
follows:
For general purposes in order to carry on the
affairs of the City government under Section 4,
Article 12, of the Constitution of 1874, there
is hereby levied a tax of 5 mills;
For purpose of paying Bonds and Interest of the
City of Little Rock as they mature in the Funding
Bond Issue of May 1, 1925, a tax of one mill for
the year 1932 is hereby levied; and Ordinance No.
3789 is hereby amended only insofar as to apply to
levy for the year 1932;
For purpose of paying Bonds and Interest of the
City of Little Rock as they mature in the Airport,
Fire Equipment and Hospital Annex Bond Issue of
November 1, 1929, a tax of 2.96 2/3 mills for the
year 1932 is hereby levied.
Section2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a
certified copy of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Pulaski County
to the end that the taxes herein recited may be extended on the Tax
books of Pulaski County and collected annually along with the other
taxes for the year 1932.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances only
insofar as in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
