HomeMy WebLinkAbout5051V4 OPDI NANC E N0. S0 � --' AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE "'E'T SIDE OF BEECH STREET FROM PROSPECT AVENUE TO I STREET AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 'i'HEREAS the parkin; of vehicles on both the east and west side of Beech Street from Prospect Avenue to I Street makes it imossible at times for fire trucks from the fire station at Frospect avenue and Beech Street to use the street in answering fire alarms on Beech street, therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: Section 1. That no automobile or other vehicle shall be parked at any time of the day or night on the west side of Beech street from Prospect Avenue to I Street. Section 2. Any person violating this ordinance shall be fined in the sum now provided by ordinance for parking in front of fire plugs. Section 3. The parking of vehicles upon the west side of Beech street, constituting a menace to property on Beech street which must be remedied immediately, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being for the peace, health and safety of the citizens of Little :Rock the same shall be in force and take effect from and after the date of its passage.
