Section 1 and repealing Section 2 of
An Crdinance Amending /Ordinance ?,,To. 5040 of the General Ordinances of
Little Pock and for other purposes;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMIXIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTICT, 1. That Section I of Ordinance 5040 be amended to read as
f 011OWS
"It shall be unlawful to park any vehicles for more than
one hour on '.lest Capitol Avenue from J,Zain Street to Arch
Street and for more than twenty minutes from Arch street
to Gaines street on ;hest Capitol Avenue during week days,
between the hours of 7 A.iy;. and 6 P.JA."
Section 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance 5040 be and the same is in
its entirety hereby repealed.
section 3. That all ordinances or parts of Ordinanc s in conflict
her wits_ are hereby repealed and the congestion of trkf fic
around the Federal Building no,. -.., misting due to incorrecrt
par?�:ing has created a traffic hazard dangerous to the safety
of vehicles and persons using that area;,t'_- Lerefore an x
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall. take effect and be in force from and after its pas-
