I>> 1 U 1 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERrTION OF LINIAT'URE POOL TABLES AND DECLAR.ING SUCH OPERATION TO BE A PRIVILEGE AND FIXING THE FEE THEREFOR, DECLERING AN EiERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIT 'LE ROCK: Section 1. That the operation of raini.ature pool tables in the city of Little Roc'-,--, is hereby declared to be a privilege and ,persons operating° any of such tables in the city of Little Rock shall pay therefor the aura of X12.00 annually. S;.id annual tax to be paid in semi- annual installdents. Section 2. For the purpose of def i.nirg miniature pool tables coming vvithin the meaning' of this ordinance, such miniature pool tables are hereby defined to be pool tables which do not exceed 60 inches in length and 30 inches in vii.dth. Section. Section 4. That the operation of pool-tables which are now being classed as miniature pool tables v�hen in truth such tables are not miniature but standard pool tables in such a i.aalriler as to attract r nors is c asing a condition detriiaentwl to the iiiorals and safety of i the citizens of Little Rock and the passage of this ordinance being immediately necessary for the protection of the peace, health, and safety of the citizens of Little Rock an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall tame effect and be in force fro_n and after its -, -)assage.
