An ordinance, being an ordinance entitled, "An ordinance accepting
lands and parcels of lands, dedicated to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for

public use.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section One.
V,FHEtt}_AS, title has been obtained throu deeds and oondemnation proceed-
ings to lands and parcels of lands situated in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
described below, to wit:
Starting from the center of the N. E. 3 of Section 18, T1N, R12VT, in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, measure eastwardly along the east and west center line of the
N. E. 1 of said Section 18, which center line is also the corporate line of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, 688.1 feet to the intersection of the center line of Asher
Avenue, also known as the 19th Street or Hot Sprin #s Pike, for a point on the center-
line, hereinafter described, traversing Asher Avenue, West Ttiventy- eighth Street and
West Twenty -fifth Street, in whole or in part, of the proposed Little Rock City
Connection, the latter being known also as U. S. Public ,Yorks Project No. N. R. M. 35,
Part 2, said point being designated as survey station 1 / 87; thence making an angle
of 29006' in the northeast quadrant with the said east and west center line of the
N. E. g of Section 18 measure N 63000' E along the said center line of Asher Avenue
1233 feet to survey station 14 -/ 20; thence N 63022' E along the center line of Asher
Avenue 1242.9 feet to station 26 / 62.9 at the point of beginning of a 6000' curve;
thence around a 6000' curve to the right 242.1 feet to Station 29 / 05, said station
29 / 05 being the intersection of the centerline with the corporate line of the City
of Little Rock along the south property line of Asher Avenue, for the beginning of an
exception to U. S. Public storks Project No. N. R. M. 35, Part 2; continuing thence
around a 6000' curve to the right 60.1 feet to Station 29 / 65.1 at the end of the 60001
curve; thence N 810301 E 152.4 feet to station 31 / 17.5 at the point of beginning of
a 3000' curve; thence around a 3000' curve to the right 330.0 feet to Station 34 / 47.5
at the end of the 3000' curve, a point of equation in chainage such that Station 34 /'47.5
back equals 34 / 66.5 ahead, said point also being on the section line between Sections
8 and 9, T1N, R12V1; thence S 880361 E along the said section line 332,9 feet to the
quarter corner between said Sections 8 and 9 at Station 37 / 99.4; thence S 870431 E
along the section line between said Sections 8 and 9 1328.2 feet to the east sixteenth

corner between said Sections 8 and 9 at Station 51 / 27.6; thence S 87025, E along the
section line between said Sections 8 and 9 661.4 feet to the intersection of the center
line with the west line of Gallagher's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
said west line of Gallagher's Addition being the corporate line of the said City of
Little Rock, at Station 57 -/ 89, the end of this exception to U. S. Public'`orks
Project No. N.R.M. 35, Part 2; thence continuing S 87025' E along the said section
line between said Sections 8 and 9 664.8 feet to the section corner common to Sections
8, 9, 16 and 17, TIN, R12VT, at station 64 / 53.8; thence S 88049' E 3227.2 feet to
Station 96 / 81 for the beginning of an exception; continuing thence S 88049' E
174 feet to Station 98 / 55 for the end of this exception; continuing thence S 88049' E
177.4 feet to Station 100 / 32.4; thence S 88028' E 567.6 feet to station 106 / 00;
thence S 88032' E 1146.3 feet to Station 117 / 46.3, said station 117 { 46.3 being
the section corner common to Sections 9, 10, 15 and 16, TIN, R12N; thence continuing
S 88032' E 1253.7 feet to Station 130 / 00j thence S 88024' E 153 feet to Station
131 / 53 for the beginning of an exception; thence continuing S 88024' E 1212 feet to
Station 143 / 65 for the end of the exception; thence continuing S 88024' E 391 feet
to station 147 -/ 56 for the end of U. S. Public V orks Project No. N. R. M. 35, Part 2,
said station 147 / 56 being 3009.7 feet, moreor less, eastam.rdly from the northwest
corner of Section 15, TIN , R1217, and e92 feet, more or less, south of the north line
of said Section 15.

Pine Street described as follows:
Beginning at survey station 26 / 62.9 of the center line hereinbefore de-
scribed; continuing thence N 63022' E along the center line of Asher Avenue 324.4 feet
to Station 29 / 87.3, a point of equation in chainage such that 29 / 87.3 back equals
29 { 89.7 ahead; continuing thence N 63022' E along the center line of Asher Avenue 141.5
feet to Station 31 31.2 for the end of U. S. Public VIorks Project No, N. R. M, 35, Part
2, said Station 31 31.2 being 2.4 feet, more or less, southwestviardly from the inter-
section of the center line of Asher Avenue with the east line of Pine Street north of
Asher Avenue produced southwardly.

Section Two.
Said lands and parcels of lands abovecbscribed in Section One of this
ordinance is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
as and for the said City, and same is hereby dedicated for public use as a street,
as part and parcel of Asher Avenue, 'Nest Twenty- eighth Street, and West Twenty -Fifth
Street.
Section Three.
Encroachments not affected by property line changes in Section One.

Section Four.
It being deemed necessary for the best service, convenience, welfare and

safety of the travelling public that said Asher AvenuSA and vest Twenty -Fifth Street
be improved by the construction of suitable pavements, viaducts, drainage structures,
or other facilities, and that said encroachments on present streets should be removed,
and emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and publication; and all ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Passed and approved by vote of the members of the City Council
