HomeMy WebLinkAbout5135ORDINANCE NO 51.3 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ASK FOR BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING OF GARBAGE TRUCKS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ON A MONTHY RENTAL CONTRACT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and empowered to ask for bids from the automobile dealers of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas, for the furnishing to the City Garbage Department a sufficient number of trucks suitable for the use of collecting garbage. Section 2, Upbn the securing of said bids the Board of Public Affairs and the Iaayor are hreby authorized to enter into a contract with the dealer offering the most desirable and advantageous contract to the city, to rent a sufficient number of said trucks on a monthly rental basis. Section 3.
