ROCK AND FOR 0 TN: R PURPOSES WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock ownis much real prop- erty and the same is not properly listed, indexed or platted , and information in reference to the location of such property, build - ings situated thereon, leases or contracts made with respect to it, and other similar and necessary information, is not properly available; and, WHEREAS, all of such information is necessary and should be provided in a form and manner so that it will at all times be readily available and accessible to the officers and citizens of the City of Little Rock; Now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS SECTION 1. That the City Engineer is hereby autho- rized, empowered and directed to prepare within 90 days from the date of the passage and approval of this Ordinance a proper record of any and all real estate owned by the City of Little Rock, Ark - a.nsas. Said record shall contain all necessary information with reference to the CitLfs property and in addition to a platt of all of said property a record shall be made showing the size of each piece of property, the description of any and all buildings located thereon, condition of said buildings, and other improvements, in- surance, if any, names and occupation of tenants, if any, state- ment as to whether or not property is leased by the City, the ren- tal obtained together with the term of lease. SECTION 2. City Attorney is hereby directed to give such legal assistance to the City Engineer, if any is needed in preparation of said record and platt. WCTION 3. WHEREAS, no proper record of the City's property exists and whereas such a record is necessary for the proper information of the officials of the City and for the proper -2- protection of the City's property an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public good, peace, health and safety, the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval. �I Passed: May 20, 193+ Attest: ty C1 k.
