"ONEY FROM TIE AUTOMOBILE FUND ':KITH WHICH TO PURCHASE CERTAIN LANDS IN THE 25th STREET PAVING PROJECT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, the Federal Government has appropriated the money to pave 'c'r'est 25th Street from Broadway east to extreme eastern city limits, and WHEREAS, contracts to pave said uyest 25th Street project have been let prior to this date, and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Little Rock ac- quire the rightof way for said street to be paved, and `dHEREAS, the contractors are ready to start work, but can- not start until the City acquires title to certain property for the rightofway of said street, NOSY, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITE' COUNCILL OF TIME CITY OF LITTLE ROCK SECTION 1. That Fifteen Hundred Dollars (31,500.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, be appropriated from the auto- mobile fund to be used in ac41airing title to certain property which is necessary to complete the West 25th Street paving project. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue necessary warrants to secure good title to the property enumerated in the preceding section. SECTION 3. 'WHEREAS, said contractors and workmen are anxious Ii to start work on said West 25th Street Paving Project, and whereas it would be for the benefit of the welfare, peace and harmony of the citizens of this City, an emergency is hereb;r declared to exist and this act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. i Passed; September 10, 1934 Jte City Clerk.
