AN ORDIITA. CE APPROPzIATIi;G $98,145.00 FOR PAY],�ENT OF
MATURING PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST COUPON ON FUNDING BOND ISSUE
DATED SAY 11 1925, DUE NOVEYBER 1, 1934, VARIOUS, OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the sum of $98,145.00 be and the same is
hereby expropriated out of the Bond and Interest Fund for the
pe,yment of the following indebtedness of the City of Little Rock
due and payable at the Chase National Bank of Neti� York City on
November 1, 1934:
Maturing Principal of bonds numbered 349 to
411, inclusive . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $p63,000.00
Semi - annual interest at 4za per annuli
(Coupon numbered 18, total principal being
X1,562,000.00. 351145.00
Total amount due . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$98,145.00
and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue
a wp rrant or warrants therefor, p,,,y,- ole to the Peoples llation,;l
Bank, for the purposes herein recited, of such maturity as they
deem for the best interests of the City.
Section 2. That the City Treasurer is hereby directed to
forwe,rd to the Chase National Bank in New York City out of the
Bond and Interest Fund the sum of :63,000.00 to pay the maturing
Principal of 4-zo funding bonds numbered 349 to 411, inclusive, and
$35,145.00 to pay interest, same being due and payable at the Chase
National B=ank of New York City on November 1, 1934.
Section 3. 'lhereas, it would be for the benefit of the
welfare, peace, and harmony of the citizens of this City an emer-
gency is 'Hereby declared to exist, this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from >nd after its passage.
