AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF TAXATION OF PROPERTY
FOR CITY PURPOSES FOR YErI R 1934.
BE IT ORDAIivED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. Th.-'t the rate of taxation on real :^nd -oerson, -.l ~ /
property in the City of Little Rock for City purposes for the year
1934, be and the same is hereby fixed and established and levied
as follows : ':1,
For General purposes in order to carry on the ffff s "of
the City Government under Section 4, Article 12�, dlf t%e
Constitution of 1874, there is hereby levied a "A a of 5 r

For the purpose of paying Bonds and Interest of ti.6 Ci jy /I
of Little Rock as may be required in the Funding Bon¢,
Issue of May 1st, 1925, a tax of 3 (three) mills #nor ��hJ 9
year 1934 is hereby levied; and Ordinance No. 379 is�
hereby amended only insofar as to apply to levy f r the

For the purpose of paying Bonds « Interest of theH,"'.CiE ' f
Little Rock as :nay be required in the Airport, Fire
Equipment and Hospital Annex Bond issue of November Ist
1929, a tax of 11 nills for the year 1934 is hereby , l i d. ;
Seetion 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to tra,ns�iit
a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Pulaski
County to the end that the taxes herein recited may be extended on
the Tax Books of Pulaski County and collected -annually along with
the other taxes for the year 1934.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances only
insofar as in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
Section 4. Action under the terms of this ordinance is
immediately necessary if the public health program, policy and fire
protection be not seriously curtailed, and as such curtailment
mould result in endangering the health, lives and property of
citizens of Little mock, therefore an emerp-'ency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after the date of its passage.
