AN ORDINANCE TO REDUCE THE LEVY OF THE ASSESS�1EVT OF BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS,
LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED WITHII THE BOUNDARIES OF
STREET ItlIPROVEIMT DISTRICT NO. 312 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, The Board of Improvement of Street Improvement District No. 312
has found that the present rate of benefits in said district and the collection of
same will provide more money than is necessary to pay off the bonds and interest:

MEREAS, The City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has throw
its Improvement District Committee, determined that the present rate of assessment
of benefits in Street Improvement District No. 312 can and should be reduced from
Eight and One Half Per Cent (8A%) to Two i°er cecst .
Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the several blocks, lots and parcels of real estate with-
in the boundary of Street Improvement District No. 312 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, be and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said
Improve ;vent District as the same remains now in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the collection of benefits for the year 1934 is
hereby reduced from Eight and One Half Per Cent to Two sxlif Per Cent
(2j%,) of the said assessed benefits: and the City Collector of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas is hereby directed and authorized to collect only the sum of Two
t (�) of the assessed benefits for the year 1934 instead of
the previous assessment of Eight and One Half Per Cent
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed, and this ordinance being necessary for the proper collec-
tion of taxes in said District an emergency is therefore found to exist and same
being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect On and after its passage
and approval.
