AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $564.75 FOR PAYMENT OF ONE
CAR LOAD OF CEwIENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI`T'Y OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the sum of 4564.75 be, and the same
is hereby, appropriated from the Auto Fund of the City of Little
Rock for the payment of one car load of cement, which purchase
was authorized. under Ordinance No. 5194, and the Mayor and the
City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue the City's warrant or
warrants for such amount, paya:ole to Nowlin Lumber Coilpany, same
to be drawn on the Auto Fund and to be of such due date as
determined to be foi the best interests of the City.
Section 2. 'Whereas, It is for the best interests of
tie citizens of the city of Little Rock that the said warrant
or warrants be issued ilawediately, an ewergency is hereby declared
to exist anc this ordinance shall be in full force anc. effect from
and after its passage and approval.
