1.
The Mayor and Borsd
of Public Affairs are
hereby authorized to advertise for bids and enter into a, contract,
or contr-,,,cts, with the lowest responsible bidder for the purchase
of six (o) new suctions for the use of the Fire Department, City
of Little Rock.
Section 2. The sum of Three Huhdred and Ninety -nine
Dollars ($399.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary is hereby
appropriated from the Airport, Fire Equipment acid Hospital Rand
to pay for said equipment.
Section 3. Whereas, it is for the best interest of the
safety., health and peace of the citizens of the City of Little
Rock that the said suctions be puich<.sed imnedi ^tely, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall
be in full force a- lid effect from and after its passage and
approval.
