AN ORDINANCE TO CANCEL THE LEVY OF ASSESS1,1ENT
OF BENEFITS AGAINST EACH OF THE BLOCKS, LOTS
AND PARCELS OF I.LTD INCLUDED WITHIN THE BOUN-
DARIES OF STREET IMPROVEi'riE 1,72 DISTRICT N0, 432
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, DUE IN
THE YEAR 1935 A1,1DJOR TriEREAFTER.
WHEREAS, the Board of Improvement of Street Lraprovement
District -1io* 432 has ascertained and reported to the City Council that
the financial condition of the district is such that it may meet all
its obligations, without the necessity of collecting the levy against
the property in the district due and payable in the year 1935, and has
requested that the 1935 levy and future levies against said property
be cancelled, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, through its Improvement District Committee has found that,
according to the evidence submitted to it, that the district will be
able to meet its obligations without the necessity of the 1935 or
other levy of assess= :;ent.
ARKANSAS
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots and parcels
of land included in Street Improvement District No. 432 are hereby re-
leased from the levy heretofore made due and payable in the year 1935
or thereafter; the levy due in the year 1935 and thereafter is hereby
cancelled and set aside.
Section 2..That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance being
necessary for tine proper collection of taxes in said District an em-
ergency is therefore found to exist and sane being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect CEn and after its passage
and approval.
