ORDINANCE NO. 5293,
AN ORDINAN:.E APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $3,053.03 FROM THE
A., FE. AND H. FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING THREE AU-
TOMOBILES FOk THE NOIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF' LITTLE
ROCK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL F THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARK IAN S AS
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated fro m the Airport, Fire
Eginipment and Hospital Fund the sum of Three Thousand Fifty -three
Dollars Three Cents (43053.03) for the purchase of three (3) automo-
biles for the Little Rock Fire Department, said automobiles to be as
follows: Two (2) Buick Coupes to be purchased from the Little Rock
Mlotor Company, at a price of One Thousand Twenty -one Dollars Thirty
Gents (u1,021.30) each, and one (1) Dodge Four -door Tudor Sedan to
be purchased from S. r;. Thomas Auto Company at a price of One Thou-
sand Ten Dollars Forty -three Gents
SECTION 2. Tine Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
issue the Cityts warrants charged against the Airport, r`ire Equip-
ment and Hospital Jund in the following sums and to the following
parties: In the sum of Two Thousand i'orty -two Dollars aixty Cents
02042.60) to Little Rock Motor Company, and the sum of One Thousand
Ten Dollars Forty -three Cents (,':1,010.43), to Thomas to
Company.
SECTION 3. ' ;V'hereas, the Little Rock Fire Department is in dire
need of said automobiles, and whereas the peace, safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City of Little Rock will benefit
therefrom an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordin-
ance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
