AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO CERTAIN PROPERTY NOW OWNED
BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO MCKINLEY SCALES AND
WIFE FOR THE SUM OF TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS (42500*)
TO BE PAYABLE IN MONTHLY INSTALUMTS;-SAID PROPERTY
BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: West 90 feet of 7 block 11,
Wat Worthen addition to the 06ty of Little Rook Arkansas,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute and deliver to McKinley Scales -and wife a
warranty deed to the following described property:
West 90 feet of lot 7, block 11, Wat Worthen
addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas..
Section 2. The said deed is t& be executed for and in
consideration of the sum of twenty five hundred dollars
($2500.00) to be paid as follows:
The sum of one hundred seventy five'dollars
down payment and.twenty five dollars per month
for a period of thirteen months, without interest,
making a totem of five hundred dollars: Then
to pay the star: of seventeen &,80 /100 dollars-per
month, inc m pal and imter*st at e.,;
until said-loan--J#-'paid in full.
Section 3. Whereas the Cis owns the above described property
and whereas it has no purpose for which it could use
same; And whereas it would be for the benefit of the
peace health and safety'of the Citizens of the City of
Little Rock that such property be sold and the proceeds
used to defray the expenses of the City, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage.
