SE-l"'ITION 1. The Mayor and Board of Public affairs are here-
by authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of two (2)
five hundred (500) gallon fire pumpers for the Little Lock Firee-
partment from the xmerican- LaFrance and Foamite Industries, Inc.,
in accordance with bids heretofore submitted.
SLCTIOT? 2. There is zereby appropriated the sum of Twelve
Thousand (512,000.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary, from the :especial Fire Equipment Fund to be expended for the
purchase of same.
SECTION 3. 7.nereas, the "ire Je- oartment is in the immediate
need of such equipment for the purpose of properly protecting prop- �
erty against fires, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health and safety and sane s: ,qall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
