ORDINANCE N0. 5410
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR, RECEIVE BIDS ON, AND
PURCHASE TWO (2) TRUCKS, FOR USE IN THE GARBAGE DEPARTIviENT OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, DECLARING AN ELEIRGEI��CY, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT_ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs
of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to
advertise for, receive bids on, and purchase two (2) trucks, for
use in the Garbage Department of said City.
Section 2. Whereas, the Garbage Department of
the City of Little Rock is badly in need of trucks, and the same
being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safety of the citizens of Little Rock, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage and
anproval.
