AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR, RECEIVE BIDS ON, A1%TD
PURCHASE FOUR (4) AUTOMOBILES, RADIO E',�UIPPED, FOR USE IN THE
DETECTIVE DEPARTMriT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, MAKING AN
APPROPRIATION FOR PAYMENT OF SAYE, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
N BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Board of Public Affairs

of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to
advertise for, receive bids on, and purchase four (4) automobiles,
each suitably equipped with radio receiving sets, for use in the
Detective Department of said City.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated out of
the General Fund of said City the sum of Three Thousand 03,000,00)
Dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the payment of
said automobiles and radio equipment.
Section 3. 1.7hereas, the Detective Department of
the City of Little Rock is badly in need of radio equipped
automobiles, and the purchase of same being immediately necessary
for the preservation of t ne public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of Little Rock, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
