AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SELLING OR JIVING
ARAY OF ANY MERCHANDISE OF A11Y CHARACTER 'NITHIN
THE PUBLIC PARKS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. No person, firm, or corporation shall
be allowed to sell or give away any goods, merchandise or
wares in any of the public parrs in the City of Little Hock,
Arkansas, unless a permit therefor has been granted by the
City Council.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm, or corporation
violating any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction fined in any
sum not less than Five Dollars (65.00) nor more than Twenty
Five Dollars 025.00).
SECTION 3. 'WHEREAS, it is necessary- to keep the
public parks clean so that the public may have proper use of
same, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and
the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
