AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE BUSINESS OF SELLING OR
OFFERING FOR SALE IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK MOTOR- PROPELLED
VEHICLES KNOWN AS ";MOTOR GLIDES" AND SII:�ILAR 1diACHINES TO BE A
PRIVILEGE; FIXING A TAX THEREON; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE
VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the business of selling or offering
for sale in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas of vehicles known
as Motor Glides or similar vehicles, described as being a
motorized conveyance heavier than a bicycle and lighter than a
motorcycle and propelled by motor, is hereby declared to be a
privilege.
Section 2. That the license fee for the operation of
said above-described business in the City of Little Rock shall
be Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars per year, payable in advance.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation engaging
in the business herein described within the City of Little Rock,
without first having obtained a license therefor as provided
herein, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not less than
$5.00, nor more than $25.00 and each day that said violation
or violations continue shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
insofar as same conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage and approval.
