day of December 1936 the Cecil of The City of Tittle 'Rock
submitted to the qualified •leatolos of the said City the
question of whether or not the City should issue bonds in the
amount of $2S fl00s00 for the purpose of paying part of the
cost of construction and equipment of an addition to the City
Library; and
WHERMS said election was duly and lawfully held
and conducted on the 26th day of aanuary, 1937" after proper
notice thereof given and paxbliahed for the time and in the manner
required by law, at which election 1673 qualified electors

Section i. In order to pay the principal and interest
on the bond issue of $25 000 *00 authorised at a special election
held in the City of Little Rook an the 26th day of January, 1937 ,
for the purpose of paging part of the cost of construction and ,

Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to transmit
a copy of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Pulaski County
to the end that said taxes may be extended on the tasbooks of
said county and collected a=ually along with the other taxes
until the said bonds and interest thereon are paid in full.

furnish work for a large umber of persons and thereby add to
the peace and happiness of the City; further, that the lack of
an adequate City Library endangers the peace, health and safety

an emergency exists that this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, -

and that this ordinance shall take effect and be in forme from
and after its passage.
