Home My WebLink About5533g........., ORDINANCE No. 5533 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY SCHEDULE OF THE EMPLOYES IN CERTAIN OF THE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS OF JANUARY 1, 1938; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKAN SAS : Section 1. That effective as of January 1, 1938, the employes in the departments listed in Section 2 hereof shall receive compensation not to exceed the salaries on a monthly basis in an amount set opposite the respective vositions as listed in Section 2 hereof. Section 2. All ordinances and carts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. WHEREAS, it is necessary, in order to prepare the budget for the City of Little Rock for the ensuing fiscal year, that this ordinance become effective immediately, an emergency is, therefore, hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its nassar °e and approval.
