SECTION 1. There is hereby created the position of
Caretaker of Boyle Park, who shall be under the supervision of the
department of-Parks and Sanitation, and shall be ap ~pointed after
competitive Civil Service Examinations are held for the position.
Said Caretaker shall devote his full ti�1e to the �aork of looking
after the said Boyle Park, and the City will furnish a house for
the said Caretaker to occupy.
SECTION 2. Salary of said Caretaker shall be Forty
Dollars ($40.00) per month, and in addition to the salary, said
Caretaker shall have the nrivileGe of operating a concession house
located in*said park, where cold drinks and sandwiches may be
sold, proceeds from which shall 09 to the said Caretaker.
ECTION 3. Said Caretaker shall be on duty at all
times and perform such duties with reference to the operation
of the Park as a City engineer may from time to tide direct.

, it is necessary to immediately
employ a Caretaker in order that the property of the City in the
isaid Boyle Park may be preserved, an emergency is hereby declared
Ito exist and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for the
Immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and aafetyr J
and same shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
