HomeMy WebLinkAbout5591y ORDINANCE NO. 5591• AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $29,812.50 FOR PAYMENT OF SEMI- ANNUAL INTEREST COUPONS ON FUNDING BOND ISSUE OF MAY 1, 1925, AND SXMI- ANNUAL INTEREST COUPONS ON REFUNDING BOND ISSUE OF NOVEMBER it 1935; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. ft IT ©RDAINRD BY THS CITY 'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the sum of $29,812.50 be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the Bond. and Interest Fund of the City of Little Rock for the payment of the following indebtedness due and payable at the Chase National Bank, New York City: Interest Coupons No. 25 duo May 1, 1938 for semi - annual interest on Funding Bonds Nos. 619 to 1910, inclusive, dated May 1, 1925, amount $29,070.00 (total principal being $1,292,000.00). Interest Coupons No. 5 due May 1, 1938 for semi- annual interest on Refunding Bonds Nos. 1 to 66, inclusive, dated November 1 1935, amount $742.50 (total principal being $33,000.00. n •..:.° - 8oct on 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are kereby authorized to issue the City's warrant or warrants therefor drawn on the Bond Interest Fund, payable to the Peoples National Bank of Little Rock, Arkansas for the payment of semi- annual interest herein recited in such amounts as they deem.for the best interests of the City; the said Peoples National Bank to remit the amount received to the Chase National Bank of New York City for the purposes herein recited. Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordi- naness in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this . Aancs shall take effect and be in force froze and after ';l�s passage and approval.
