THE NEW CITY JAIL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
eneral Fund of the City the Following sums payable to the followi
' named firms.,
ARKANSAS FOUNDARY -------------- $1,855.92
CENTRAL SUPPLY COMPANY--- - - - - -- $1,312.08
DECATUR IRON do STEEL COMPANY - - -$ 567.00
MONARCH MILL & LUMBER CO------- 946.54
Or the purpose of paying said e%incerns for material ant equipment
urnished the City and used in the construction of the New City
ail. The Mayor and City Ulerk are hereby authorized and directed
o issue the City's warrants in the above named amounts to the
ove named companies.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is important that the Jail be
leted as soon as possible, an emergency is hereby declared to
ist and this Ordinance is found to be necessary, for the Immediate
nervation of the public peace., health, and safety, and the same
all be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
pproval.
