PROVIDING FOR INTEREST ON SAID ANNUAL INSTALIMCNTS, IN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER 378 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, the Commissioners of street Improvement District Number 378 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, have adopted the resolutions and published the notices as required by_ Act 112 of the Acts of 1933 of the General As- sembly of the State of Arkansas providing for the refunding of the outstanding bonds of said District ; - and, iNAE AB, the Cammissiom®re of` said District' did on the 3rd day of May, 1938, duly file the resolution and the assessment of benefits as is required by paragraph "b" of section 2 of said Act No. 112 with the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and, WHEREAS, said assessment of benefits as the same now remains on file in the City Clerk's Office of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has pursuant to law become final and incontestable; and, it is deemed necessary to refund the bouts said 'District's said `refunding bonds to prOTide 'surd litime in which to pay the outstanding bonded indebtedness, thus decreasing the annual requirements to be collected -from tide property in said District; and, WHO, Aot Number 112 aforesaid provides that interest at the rate of not exceeding six per centum per annum from the date of the refunding bonds may be collected on each annual.installment of the assessment of benefits; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: �Y3 B� i ORDINANCE NO._ 5619 18 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ASSESSMENT OF BENEFITS, THE CAI., RA2.1 AM DATE 07 ppI TIOH*. That the said several lots, blocks and ii parcels of land and railroad track and right -of -way in Street Improvement District Number 57,8 of the City of, Little Rook, Arkansas, be and the same are hereby assessed according to the : assessmnt of benefits list of said improvement District as the same 'now-"remains on; file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, which was filed on the 3rd day May 1938, and as it may hereafter, from time to time, be revised or readjusted by the Board of Assessors as provided by Saw, and that 6.66 per centum of said assessment of the value of the benefits on each of said lots, blocks and parcels of land and railroad track and right -of -way in said District, as shown thy:; said assessment list, shall be paid on or before the 15th Sgt day of TA=e day of ruly, 19; 8, � ni -on or. of each year thereafter until the whole of said assessment of benefits has been paid. The assessments shall bear interest at the rate of four and one -half per centum per annum from the first day of April, 1938, the date of the said refunding bonds, until paid, said interest to be collected upon each annual installment separately. Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passag*.
