AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE No. 5420 KNOWN AS THE �
ZONING ORDINANCE, I;rSOFAR, AS IT AFFECTS THE PROPERTY
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; AND FORCTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1_ That from and after the passage and
;approval of this Ordinance, Lots 4 to 11, inclusive, Block 22, f
all Block 2.3, and Lots 7 and S, Block 26, Capitol Hill Extension
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
shall be classified and zoned as a light industrial area, and shall
be Zoned as 4V District and hereafter included in said ItJ" District,
and Ordinance No. 5420, of the Ordinances of the City of Little
Rock, is hereby amended to include the above described property in
such light industrial area, and said property is hereby created as
a light industrial area.
SECTION 2.. It is hereby determined and ascertainec
and found by the Council, as a matter of fact, that Section Twenty
three (23) as amended and the State Law as said Section, and the
State Law and other parts of Ordinance No. 5420 as relating to rep al
and amendment of sdtid Ordinance No. 5420 and all prerequisites to
the amendment of said Ordinance have been met and strictly complie
with.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, insofar, as they affect
this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. It being ascertained by the Council t
the re- classification of the property described in this Ordinance
is necessary for the erection of light industrial buildings and th
erection of light industrial buildings being necessary to give 1
equal justice to the owners of said property, and equal justice to
the Citizens of the City of Little Rock being found necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
