AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY
DOLLARS ($250.00). FROM THE AIRPORT, iOSPITA:L AND FIRE
EQUIPMENT FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT NECESSARY
FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BP, IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
Airport, Hos.pitgl and.Fire equipment Fund the sum of Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars 0250.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary tol.
pay for equipment necessary for the Fire Department;. said
equipment, namely, being parts necessary to install in the two
Fire Engines which were damaged in the recent accident. The
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to issue the City's Warrant
or Warrants to pay for said equipment upon presentation of properl
authenticated and approved bills.
SECTION 2.. Whereas, it is necessary to immediatel3
have said Fire equipment in operation as. a protection to the
Citizens of Little Rock, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and the same
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
