Home My WebLink About5683ORDINANCE 5683., AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY SCHEDULE OF THE EMPLOYES IN CERTAIN OF THE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; REPEALING ALL QRDINANCES. IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS SECTION 1. That effective as of January 1., 1939, and ewitinuing only through January 31, 1939, the employsa in the Departments listed in Section 2 hereof shall receive compensation not to exceed the salaries on a monthly basis in an amount set opposite the respective positions as listed in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 2. SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to prepare the budget for the City of L1 the Rock for the ensuing fiscal year, that this Ordinance bez5ome effective immediately, an emergency is therefore, hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate preserva- tion of the public peace, health and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
