AN ORDINANCE CRIgATING THREE (3) ADDITIONAL
POSITIONS AT THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL ZOO;
FIXING THE SALLY FOR THE THREE. (3) ; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
HE IT ORD,A.INSD BY-TU. CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. There is hereby created Three (3) additional
positions at the Little Rock Municipal Zoo, said positions to be
known as Helpers.. Persons so employed shall be under the directi
of the Curator of the Zoo. Rach of said Helpers shall receive
the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per month and shall. be paid as
other City employees are paid.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is necessary to have immediate
additional help at the Zoo in order to properly care for the
animals to protect the. investment of the City, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance is.found to be
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
