AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE No. 5420 KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, INSOFAR, AS IT AFFECTS THE P ,0PERTY
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF
LITTLE ROCK; .ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That from and-after the passage and approv
i of this Ordinance, Lots 7,8,11,la and N2 of Lot 10, Block 259,
Original City of Little Rock, all located in the City of Little Ro k,
Pulaski County, Aransas shall be classified and Zoned as Business)
District "Hrt to permit the erection and us-e of said property as
Business property, and Ordinance No. 5420 of the Ordinances of the
City.of Little Rock,,is hereby .amended to include the above
described property in such business area, and said property is
hereby created as a Business area..
SECTION 2. It is hereby determined and ascertained and
found-by the Council as a matter of fact that Section Twenty-three

(23) as amended, and the State Lase as said Section and the State j
Law and other parts of Ordinance No. 5420 as relating to repeal an
amendment of said Ordinance No. 542.0 and all pre requisites to the
jamendment of said Ordinance have bean met and strictly complied with.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, insofar, as they affect thi
Ordinance.
SECTION 4. It being ascertained by the Council that t
re- classification of the property described in this Ordinance is
necessary for the erection of a Business house, and the erection
a Business house being necessary to give equal justice to the ovine
of said property, and squal justice to the Citizens of the City of
Little Rock being found necessary for the preservation of the publ a
peace, health, and saf e-ty, an emergency is hereby declared to exis
and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and afte
its passage and approval.
