AN ORDINANCE-_ ABOLISHING CERTAIN POSITIONS
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION I. The following positions are hereby abolished
effective May 1, 1939: .
(1) Superintendent. of the Little Rock City Hospital.
(R-1 Office Manager of the Little Rock City Hospital.
(al Clerk to the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. Whereas the financial affairs of the City of
Little Rock are such that economy must be effected immediately,
and the duties formerly performed by the officials hereinabove
named can be transferred to orther officials. and thereby saving
the City these salaries, an emergency is hereby found to exist
and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate
Preservation of the public pease, health, and safety, and the
acme shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
