AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO EXECUTE A LEASE OF THE LITTLE
ROCK CITY HOSPITAL TD THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a lease whereby the City of Little
Rock will lease the Little Rock City Hospital to the Uni-
versity of Arkansas.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS; the University of Arkansas
is in immediate need of hospital facilities so that the
University of Arkansas Medical School will not lose its
Grade "A" rating, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance is found to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
Safety, and.the same shall be in full force and effect
I from and after its passage and approval.
