AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE FOR, - ECEIVE BIDS.ON, AND
PURCHASE CERTAIN SUPPLIES FOR THE NEW GARBAGE
DEPARTMENT AS HEREINAFTER SET OUT; AND TO AD-
VERTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS AND PURCHASE CER-
TAIN SUPPLIES FOR.THE CITY -COLLECTOR'S OFFICE;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY :OUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby author
ized to advertise for, receive bids on, and purchase the following
equipment and supplies for the City of Little Rock:

One (1)
Two (2)

Printed
Four(4 )
Receipt
Typewriters
Posture Chairs
Adding Machine
Filing Cabinets
Desk
Forms
Improvement Tax
Books
Cost approxiiately J300.00
SECTION 2. 'HEREAS; said equipment is needed immedia
in order to properly serve the people of Little Rock in the col-
lection of the garbage and in the operation of the office of the
City Collector, an emergency is hereby declarea to exist and this
Ordinance is found to be necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health, and safety, and the same shall be in
full force and eft ect from and after its passage and approval.
