AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF
THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY EACH
OF THE LOTS IN STREET IIEPROVMZNT
DISTRICT NO. 526 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
- WHEREAS, a majority of more than two - thirds in
value of the property holders owning property adjoining the
locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement
District No. 526 of the City of Little Rock, organized for
the purpose of improving a certain street as therein set oui,
j have petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rock for

the construction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof
shall be assessed upon the real .property of said district
according to benefits received; and,
WBXREAS, said benefits to be received by each and
every lot of real property situated in said district equals
local assessment thersd *; ' and
WBEFdW, the estimated cost of said impM"ment is
$1250.00;
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That said several lots of real property
in said district be assessed according to the assessment list
for said improvement district as the same now remains in the
office of the City Clerk, and that twenty per centum (20%) of
the assessment of benefits on each of said lots shall be paid
annually on or before the 1st day of Nvber of" eneh yeah'`,"'
beginning with November 1, 1939, until the whole of said local

assessment of benefits shall be paid. j
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances .
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
