WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more t a; Ajt - asnessad Value, of they property 1.000 ted the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition pray- ing that an improvement district be established for the purpose hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was signed by more than two - thirds in assessed value of the owners of real property within said territory; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: 1 Section 1. There is hereby established an laprerement district embracing the following property in the City of Little I I Rock, to -wit: fLots 1 to fi, inclusive, of Blocks 1, 2 and 5 of Forest Hill Addition, Lots 6 to 11, inclusive, of Block 5 of Reyburn & Wright *s Addition; Lots 6 to lei, inclusive, of Block. 6, and Lots 1 to 11, inclusive, of Block 5 of Reisman's Addition; for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing and guttering with £yi 3e> nr and getter, and pairing with a siz I&OU e04er! . pavement of 5000 pound mix, the following parts of the following street* in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit: West 8th Street from the east property line of Cedar Street to the west property line of Mople Street; and k Oak Street from the north property line of West 8th Street to the south property line of West 7th Street; in such a manner as the commissioners to be elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be for the best interest of said district, and that the cost thereof, in excess of any aid, I �I d . % received from any federal or other governmental agency, be assessed and charged upon the real property above described. Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District lqo. 529 ; and Drs. Q. E. Thomas, 3. D. Howe and P. 3. Woodard are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district. Section 2.
