AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 5229
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of
two- thirds in assessed value of the property located with-
in the territory hereinafter described have filed a peti-
tion praying that an improvement district be established
for the purpose hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law,
the City Council of the City of Little Rock has heard all
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that
said petition .was signed by two - thirds in assessed value
of the owners of real property within said territory; NOW
THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK., ARKANSAS:
Section 1. There is hereby established an im-
provement district embracing the following property, to-
wit: Lots one (1) to twelve (12), inclusive, in Block
three (3) ; Lots thirteen (13) to twenty-four (24) , in-
clusiveo in Block Xbur (4); Lots thirteen (13) to twen-
ty -four (24), inclusive, in Block five (5); and Lots one
(1) to twelve (12), inclusive, in Block six (6); all in
Chesterfield Square Addition to the City of Little Rock,
for the purpose of paving Valentine Street from its in-
tersection with the North line of West lrtnemtjeft� . Street

to its intersection with the South line of West Twenty -
fourth Street, in the City of Little Rock, with such kind,
al ate; , quantity' and characer .o f materials s� -
missioners, in their judgment, shall determine to be for the
best interests of the property owners within the District.
Said district shall be known as "Street Im-
provement District No. c29_ n; and A. L. Tillery, Dewey H.
Haynie and C. W. Wilkins are hereby named commissioners,
who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said dis-
trict.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
