AN ORDINANCE TO MEND ORDINANCE No. 5807,
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT No
WHEREAS, on November 13, 1939, Ordinance No. 5807

was passed by the City Council of the City of Little Rock
establishing Street Improvement No.-529;`
WHEREAS, in describing the extent and boundaries
of the proposed improvement in said ordinance, the Council
through inadvertance and mistake misconstrued the petition of
the property owners and erroneously included in the description
in said ordinance the two intersections on South Valentine
Street at 20th and 24th Streets, and it was the intention of
the property owners, as expressed in their petition, to in-
elude only the one intersection at South Valentine and 22nd
Streets in the proposed improvement; NOW, THEBE FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 5807, establishing
Street Improvement District No. 529, is hereb-y amended
to read as follows:
"Section 1. There is hereby established an im-
provement district embracing the following property, to-
wit]*: Lots one (1) to twelve (12), inclusive, in Block
three (3); Lots thirteen (13) to twenty -four (24), in-
elusive, in Block four (4); Lots thirteen (13) to twenty-
four (24), inclusive, in Block five (5); and Lots (1) to
twelve (12), inclusive, in Block six (6) ; all in'Chester-
field Square Addition to the City of Little Rock, for the
purpose of constructing a concrete pavement with an
over -all width of twenty -two (22) feet on South Valentine
Street from its intersection with the South line of West
twentieth Street to its intersection with the North line of
West Twenty- fourth Street, City of Little Rock, with such kind,

t quality, qual tity and character of materials as the
Commissioners, in their judgment, shall determine to be
for the best interests of the property owners in the
District.
"Said district shall be known as +Street Im-

Haynie and C. W.-Wilkins are hereby named commissioners,
who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district.

"Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage."
