AN ORDIN ANC .' AUTHORIZING THE BOATED OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO ADVE -RTISE FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS FOR CERTAIN SUPPLIES
FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOt OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OLD THE' CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: The mayor and Board of Public Affairs are
hereby authorized to advertise for and receive bids for the fur-
nishing to the City of Little `-cock of certain supplies for the
ensuing quarterly period as follows, to -wit:
(1) Gas "; line, oils and lubricants.... approximately "6,000.00
(2) Tires ............................ i' 500.00

(3) Cement and ready -mix concrete.... 23000.00
(4) Asphalt .......................... " 1,800.00
(5) Light Globes..................... n 500.00
(6) Bridge Lumber..,. .......... ....... `� 700.00

SECTION 2: FtiHE11,EAS; said supplies are needed immediatel
for the operation of the various departments of the City, an emer
gency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is found to
be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, and safety, and the same shall be in full force and ef-
fect from and after its passage and approval.
