two- thirds in assessed value of the property located
within the territory hereinafter described have filed a
petition praying that an improve-rent district be estab-
lished for the purposes hereinafter set out.

value of the owners of real property within said territory;

improvement district embracing the following described
property:
Beginning at a point which is 150 feet South of,
ana 149 feet East of the Northwest corner of Block 1,
Chesterfield Scuare Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, thence South a distance of 800 feet
to a point which is 300 feet South of the TTorth line
of Block 8, Chesterfield Square Addition, and 149 feet
East of the East line of Martin Street in said City;
thence due '!vest a distance of 338 feet to a point on
the West side of the alley in Block 7 of said Chester-
field Square Addition; thence North along the Vvest line
of said alley a distance of 150 feet to the Southeast
corner of lot 3, Block 7, Chesterfield_ Square Addition;
thence due West a distance of 668 feet to a point on
the vest line of the alley in Block 5 of Chesterfield
Square Addition, which point is also the Southeast

City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
The purpose of the improvement district hereby*
established is to drain, grade, curb, gutter, and pave the
follwwing described streets, to -wit:
20th Street from the East oroperty line of Valmar
Street to apoint 140 feet West of the 'west line of Maple St;
21st Street from the '''vest property line of
Maple Street to a point 140 feet West;
22nd Street from a point 142 feet East of the East
line of Martin Street to the East line of Valentine Street;
thence from the -vvest line of Valentine Street to the East
line of Pine Street;
Martin Street from a point 150 feet South of the
South line of 20th Street to a point 300 feet South
of the South line of 22nd Street.
Valmar Street from the South line of 20th Street
to a point 150 South of the South line of 22nd Street;
Maple Street from the South line of 20th Street
to a point 300 feet South of the South line of 22nd
Street as that line is fixed at the East side of the
intersection of 22nd and Maple Streets; all in the
City of Little hock, Arkansas;
in such manner and with such materials as the Board of
Improvement of svid district may deem for the hest interests
of the district, subject to the approval of the City Engineer.
Said district shall be known as Street Imorovemment
District No. X31. ; and P. -u. Mizell, J. N11illard Smith,
and W. P. Green are hereby named commissioners, who shall
compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
