AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED
NINETY FOUR DOLLARS AND FOUR CENTS ($2,894.04) FROM
THE GENERAL REVENUE FUND TO THE AUDITORIUM FUND TO
PAY FOR EXPENSES TO DECEMBER 31, 1939; TO APPROPRIATE
THE SUM. OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS. ($2,000.00) FROM THE

OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIT-
TLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1:. There is hereby appropriated from the general
revenue fund of the City of Little Rock the sum of $2,894.04 to
the Auditorium Fund.
SECTION 2:- The said sum of $2,894.04 shall be used to pay
for unpaid obligations up to and including December 31, 1939-
SECTION 3: There is hereby appropriated from the general
revenue fund the sum of $2,000.00 to the Auditorium fund.
SECTION 4: The said sum of $2,004.00 shall .b e, usq
fray operating expenses up to and including April 30, 1940.
SECTION 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflic
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6: The provisions of this ordinance are hereby de-
Glared to be severable and if *any sections are found to be
invalid it is the intention of the Council that the remaining sec-
tions stand and shall be in full force.
SECTION 7: WHEREAS:; this appropriation being necessary to
the operation of the Municipal Auditorium, an 'emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this Ordinance is found to be necessary for

the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety,
and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
