AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY -
FOUR DOLLARS AND FOUR CENTS ($4,894.04) FROM THE GENERAL FUND
FOR OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT TO THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM COM:. ,ZSSION;
REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 5857; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the
General Fund of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the sum of
Four Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety -four and 04 /100 ($4,894.o4)
Dollars for operating expenses of the Little Rock Municipal
Auditorium.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to issue a warrant on the Oneral Fund
of the City payable to the Little Rock Municipal Auditorium
Commission in the said sum of Four Thousand Eight Hundred
Ninety -four and 04 /100 Dollars ($4,894.o4).
SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 5857, passed February 19,
1940 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. WFEREAS, this appropriation being neces-
sary to the operation of the Municipal Auditorium, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is found to be
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, and safety and the same shall be in full force and
effect from and after its pas s^ge and approval.
