= AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 4
OF ORDINANCE NO. 5372 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 5372 of the Ordinances of
the City of Litre Rook, be, and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:.
"It shall be unlawful to sell beer or light wines within
three hundred (300) feet of any church in the residential section of
e�"Citryef Little Rook, The residential section of the City of
Little Rook shall be any part of sAkd city that is outside of the
fire zone, as is now or may hereafter be fixed by the City Council,
and the business wection of the City of Little Rock is that part
of said city within the fire zone."
Section 2. In measuring the said three hundred feet as set forth
in Section 1 of this Ordinance, being Section 4 of Ordinance 5372,
as amended the way of the flour of vehicular traffic shall be the
sole determining factor, rather than a measurement based on
the shortest distsance between two points.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed, and it being ascertained and found by the
Little Rock CitSy,_Ouaoil that the unregulated sale of beer and light
wines in the City of Little Eck constitutes a menace to the public
peace, health and safety of liftle Rook, and requires the
mediate passage of this ordinance, and aa: emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
