AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE
FOR AND RECEIVE BIDS ON THE RENTAL OF ONE(1) ASPHALT DISTRIBUTOR
AND TRUCK, ONE (1) JACKHAIIIIER AND COMPRESSOR, ONE (1) CONCRETE
MIXER; AUTHORIZING THE BOARD TO ENTER INTO SAID RENTAL AGREEHENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of public. Affairs is hereby 'authori e&-'I ' *"
to advertise for and receive bids for the following:
1. Rental of One (1) Asphalt Distributor and Truck
2. Rental of One (1) Jackhammer and Compressor, sub-
ject to refusal upon inspection at delivery
3. Rental of One (1) Concrete Mixer 10 -5
The Board of Public Affairs is further authorized to contract for
the rental of, or purchase, of said equipment or so much thereof
as may be necessary from the lowest and most responsible bidder.
SECTION 2. - WHEREAS; said equipment is needed immediately
in order to properly serve the people of Little Rock, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance is found to be
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, and safety, and the same shall be in full force and-
effect from and after its passage and approval.,;
