AN ORDINANCE AU`1'HORIZING THE LEASE OF A PLOT OF GROUND IN
FAIR PARK TO LIT'T'LE ROCK RECREATION COMMISSION, SAID PLOT OF GROUND
BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT 1750 FT. SOUTH
AND 530 FT. WEST OF THE N.E. CORNER OF THE S.W. ONE QUAFTER OF THE
N.E. ONE QkElTER OF SECTION 6, T04vNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST,
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS; THENCE WEST 350 IT. TO A POINT, THEr;CE III
A NORTHIASTERLY DIRECTION ALONG THE CIRCUU ERENCE OF A CIRCLE SCRIBED
WITH A RADIUS OF 350 FT. AND HOSE CENTER IS THE POINT OF BEGINNING TO
A POINT 350 FT. NORTH OF THE POINT OF BEGINNING, THENCE IN A SOUTH -
HE:^ S` E7LY DIRECTION ALONG THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF A CIRCLE SCRIBED WITH
A RADIUS OF 350 FT. AND ti'•.'HOSE CENTER IS THE POINT OF BEGINNING TO A
POINT 350 FT. EAST OF THE POINT OF BEGINNING, THENCE WEST 350 FT. TO
THE POINT OF BEGINNING, SAID PARCEL OF LAND BEING A SEMI- CIRCLE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, end they are
hereby, authorized and directed to execute a lease or leases to Little
Rock Recreation Commission, a. nonprofit corporation, and its assigns,
covering tho following described property, locates'_ in the State of
Arkansas, County of Pulaski, to -wit:
A Plot Ground in Fair Park, in the City of Little Rock, de-
scribed as follows: Bafinning ^.t a. point 1750 ft. south o d
530 ft. west of the N.E. corner of the S.W. one quarter of the
N.E. one gnerter of Section 6, Township 1 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence vest 350 ft. to a Point,
thence in a Northeasterly direction along the circumference of
a. circle scribed with a, radius of 350 ft. and whose center is
the point of beginning to a point 350 ft. north of the point
of beginning, thence in E southeasterly direction along the
circumference of a, circle scribed with a. radius of 350 ft. and
whose center is the point of beginning to a, point 350 ft. east
of the point of beginning, thence west 350 ft. to the -point of
beginning, said parcel of lend being a, semi-circle-
The term of this lease shall be for the geriod of ten years from
the first day of June, 1 940, and the rental payable shall be $1.00
annually. The lessee, and its assigns, shall hpve the right and privi-
lege at the ergiration of the lease of renawing the lease onnur..11y on
the same rental basis until the lessee is ^ble to certify to the lessor
that all bills, debts and expenses of every character in connection with
