ORDINANCE NO. 5919
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO TAKE
BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN GRADER EQUIP -SENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKS
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the Board of Public Affairs
are hereby authorized and directed to advertise for and receive
bids for the purchase of the following described grader equip-
ment, to -grit: One V type scarifier for 44 Grader +6B9331, said
V type scarifier for 44 Grader #6B9331 no-t to exceed in cost
the amount of Three Hundred Forty -three and 88100 ($343.88)
Dollars.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, the present equipment that is to
be replaced by the scarifier described inc3ection One of this
Ordinance is inadequate for its purposes; AND ;`rHEREAS, it is
necessary that the scarifier described in Section One of this
Ordinance be obtained immediately, an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and
safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
